Ramen2.0 The next generation of noodles
Question:
Why is ramen so great and why the hell is there a website about it?
Answer:
Because it's awesome! Ramen is a great food. Not the instant freeze dried crap that you can buy in a 99 cent store. The real stuff: hot broth, fresh noodles, sliced pork on top, and a cold beer standing by.
Wikipedia says:
It's a Japanese dish of noodles served in broth that originated in China. It tends to be served in a meat-based broth, and uses toppings such as sliced pork (チャーシュー, chāshū?), dried seaweed (海苔, nori?), kamaboko, green onions, and even corn. Almost every locality or prefecture in Japan has its own variation of ramen, from the tonkotsu ramen of Kyūshū to the miso ramen of Hokkaidō.
